Your privacy is our concern
Ensuring the security of our systems and the privacy of our customers is one of our most important pillars. After all, many of our customers choose our services because they want more privacy.
Security of your personal data
The PriPortal contains your personal information such as name, address and email. And when PriPost scans your mail, your mail is also stored in the portal. In short, these are very confidential data that are not intended for anyone other than you.
One of the ways we use to protect this personal data is that all personal data is stored encrypted. You won’t notice it, but it is very important. Suppose a hacker were to access the portal, then the data would be of no use to him, because it is unreadable.
Of course, we also do everything we can to keep hackers out. For example, the 2FA verification during login is part of this. In addition to entering a username and password (step 1), you must enter a verification code (step 2). Sometimes a bit annoying, because it takes a little longer, but it makes the portal a lot safer.
Last but certainly not least, we have an active Responsible Disclosure program in place to ensure the security of the portal. This means that we invite ‘ethical hackers’ to check our portal for possible risks. They then report this to us so that we can solve the problem immediately.
Privacy
An important rule that we apply to guarantee your privacy is that we never share data with third parties. We do not store unnecessary data and we do not share anything. The only exception to this is when we are required to do so by law. This may be the case, for example, in a judicial investigation.
Because privacy is our top priority, we do not allow Google in our portal as an example. So nothing is ‘tracked’ about what you do there and that is a very nice thought. From a marketing perspective, we do miss valuable information, but we take that for granted.
The GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) came into effect on December 11, 2018 and we immediately complied. Of course, we remain continuously up to date with this legislation.
